You start the game with 30 EXP + Any you had Left over.

Archetypes

Pick an Archetype and gain its Talent. Do not change your own attributes or get the skill from it.

Skills

Some Skills have changed or been lost. Because of this you might need to convert your skills over.

This is mostly for Combat skills. Melee takes a step back so you will find that instead of two skills. Melee now falls into 1 Skill. Ranged now splits off into two skills, and heavy vehicle weapons now fall under Gunnery.

SOS EOP Equivalent
Melee Light/Heavy Melee
Ranged Ranged Light/ Ranged Heavy
NONE Gunnery
NONE Computers Hacking/Computers SysOps

Converting

Converting is pretty simple. For both Melee skills you simply use the Skill with the most ranks as your new Melee Skill ranks, and the EXP in the other may be refunded. If either of these skills are Career skills, then you may make this a Career skill. If they both are you may pick a new skill as a Career skill.

For Ranged, check if your main weapon counts as light or Heavy, and put the skill ranks you had in Ranged to that. If that skill is also a Career skill, you can count the skill for your weapon as a Career skill.

Gear

Any weapon can be considered 'refitted' to work in the current setting. Don't try to think about it to hard.

Wealth

You lose one rank in Wealth, with it unable to go below Rank 1.
